FOODTASTIC!!! Teens Expressing Themselves with food!

Teen Summer Reading Program participants braved the extreme 3-block trek to the Altadena Community Center to participate in FOODTASTIC on Thursday, July 30. FOODTASTIC was all about having fun with food without a lot of effort, time or too much of a mess(at least that was the idea)! FOODTASTIC was the last Teen SRP event before the Ice Cream Finale and Grand Prize Drawing on Tuesday, August 4 at 2PM. Teens, make sure to be there!

Fun at Comic Con

Yes that is me with Milo Ventimiglia from Heroes!
Yes! I had a blast at Comic Con which had been sold out for months! Luckily I was able to get a pass to go and Wow, did I have a lot of fun!

I saw a ton of celebrities, bought some great new graphic novels for the YA collection and picked up some really great stuff for raffle prizes. Can you say "New Moon" give-aways? I know I can! So check out some of the photos that I managed to take!

Thanks to everyone who came to "express" their crafty/creative selves at the "Goth Sock" Creature Teen Summer Reading Program Event yesterday afternoon. We had a great time cutting, stitching, stuffing and decorating our sock creatures. What Fun!
